Yvonne and Al take us on a tour of their 9-acre wildlife preserve in southeastern Louisiana. She says, "Each morning, around 9:00 a.m. we (two humans and our two dogs, though sometimes neighbor dogs join us) make our daily trek down to the Little Tchefuncte River in southeastern Louisiana, filling bird feeders along the way."

She says that "Bath is popular with visitors from all over the world. They are drawn to see the Roman baths and other Roman remains, the Georgian terraces including the famous Royal Crescent and Circus and its 15th century abbey."

Elizabeth Mackay's favorite place is also in England where she lives. She writes, "I have lived almost all my life in the beautiful Culm Valley, mostly in the parish of Culmstock. It is a green valley rising gently to green hills. Devon has lots of small hills and high hedgebanks which give the countryside its distinctive quality of beauty." You can tell that she loves this place.

Barb is from Western Canada and she loves her mountains. She explains, "The Canadian Rockies are a segment of the North American Rocky Mountains found in the Canadian provinces of Alberta and British Columbia." She then goes on to show the beauty and majesty of this area of Canada and provides lots of resources for your visit.

Barb's cruise trip to Alaska was a celebration of life with her sister and aunt. It was obviously a memorable trip and she wrote this lens in tribute to her sister, who passed away in 2007.

From the lack of one hotel after another lining the beachfront to the dunes that separate the beach from the non-assuming homes and rental condos, and from the relatively uncrowded sands to the few weather worn restaurants, Atlantic Beach is the perfect place to unwind for a few days or spend a lifetime."

The History of Pompei by charlino

Pompei was one of the cities destroyed by Mount Vesuvius, literally buried under volcanic lava and ash for centuries prior to being discovered in 1700s. The volcano is still active today."
