SensaSlim Vogue at the New York Fashion Week - the Models Speak

New York (PRWEB) September 26, 2011

The New York Fashion week 2011, usually the centerstage for fashion vogue for the months to come, saw the pervasion of a vogue of a very different kind. Several top models at the show could be seen using a spray - the SensaSlim Slimming Spray. While, the spray is not yet available in the US, its Asia launch in Singapore featured quite prominently last month. The news of the pleasant vanilla taste of the SensaSlim product coincides with information released from a study, published in the 'International Journal of Obesity and Clinical Nutrition', which says our taste buds could be the key to obesity and builds on the discovery last year of a sixth taste that is responsive to the fat content of foods.

SensaSlim International Limited has announced a breakthrough in the formulation in its intra oral spray that has seen it withdraw SensaSlim Solution from the market and introduced a new product to be marketed as "SensaSlim Slimming Spray". This introduction has seen the change of the SensaSlim spray improving and has greatly enhanced its appeal for those seeking to get slim.

A assessment correspondent from SensaSlim found excitement brewing over this latest slimming product with demonstrated results.Norwegian Erjana Ala, 16, the model who closed the show (next to the opening dress, the last dress is the most important in any collection) discovered the SensaSlim spray in her native Norway where it has recently been released and has been using it regularly since.

"The other girls saw me spray it, and now everyone is wanting it (sic)," Ala says, as she squirts the oral slimming spray three times onto her tongue.
"It isn't in America yet, so the girls are buying it on the internet and getting it sent by express courier," she said. "It's crazy how everyone is asking me where they can get it."

The spray has become the favorite amongst the rich and famous including Heidi Klum, Kim Kardashian, Alica Keys, Emma Roberts, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Stacy Ferguson , Kanye West, Kelly Osbourne, Kirsten Dunst and Vanessa Hudgens, says Ala.

The New York Fashion show grapevine is fraught with instances of models achieving spectacular results with the SensaSlim Slimming Spray. Several models are furtively mentioning SensaSlim as the best slimming method with its ease of use and greatly improved taste adding to its appeal. With the slogan, "Nothing Tastes as Good as Slim feels," a quote made famous by Kate Moss that saw her gain entry into the Oxford Book of Modern Quotations, is it little wonder that this slimming phenomenon has become such a hit with the supermodels.

SensaSlim is sprayed three times daily onto the tongue, ten minutes before meals. Its all-natural active ingredients enter the blood stream and naturally suppress the appetite. Simultaneously, the taste buds are pleasantly desensitized by a natural herb. This sends a message to the brain that you are full%u2026 without affecting the central nervous system. The effect of the formulation is felt immediately and suppression of appetite is swift.

A person has on average 50,000 thoughts a day. Many of those thoughts are related to food, which prompts a call to action to eat. Scientists at the Intercontinental Research Institute have determined that to assist with weight loss, it was important to reduce a person thinking about food. SensaSlim removes the call to action to eat, by fooling the brain into believing that you are full. In simple terms, if you don't think of food, you don't crave food, you don't eat food.

The new SensaSlim Slimming Spray is formulated in Switzerland and will be available worldwide in 2012. However, it will not be available in Australia due to contractual issues with the master franchisee who was stripped of the rights in June 2011.

SENSASLIM TASTES SLIMMING SUCCESS IN ASIA

September 10, 2011 (Singapore) - SensaSlim Suisse Limited, the manufacturer of the revolutionary SensaSlim Slimming Spray, has signed a multi-million Euro distribution deal that will see the introduction into Asia of the breakthrough slimming product being described as a "dieters dream" .
SensaSlim Asia CEO Stephen Kao said the expansion into Asia was a natural progression for the Swiss health care company given that obesity affects every race, in both genders, and in all ages.
"Obesity is a major concern throughout Asia," Mr Kao said "It has been rising at an alarming rate and given the large population in China, and India, it is seen as a very lucrative market."
"The growth of the problem is obvious," he said. "If you Google 'Obesity in China' it produces about 29,800,100 hits. That is almost 30 million people which is incredible considering only 30 years ago obesity was unheard of."

Obesity rates worldwide doubled in the last two decades, even as blood pressure and cholesterol has dropped, according to three news studies published this month in the Lancet in the British Medical Journal. Researchers said their concerns on how much worse the obesity could get.
"Obesity is no longer just a Western problem," said Majid Ezzati, a professor at public health at the Imperial College London and an author of one of the studies. Worldwide 1.5 billion adults are overweight and over 500 million are obese.
Recently UNICEF China expressed concerns of the sharp rise in weight amongst Chinese school children and has started weight management programs in urban areas.
The problem is China's weight gain amongst children is seen as being a result of the generation of economic expansion which has led to families having greater access to many new things, food being the main amongst that.

Researchers at Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine believe that urbanisation has played a large role in the obesity problem with people now spending more time behind a desk and less time working in the fields. They also sight the increase of major fast food chains such as KFC and McDonalds being a part of the problem.
The Asian obesity problem is not isolated to China but now almost 65% of adults urban Indian's are overweight or obese or have abdominal obesity.
In India childhood obesity and diabetes have become an escalating problem among the middle classes, who have largely benefited from a decade of speedy economic growth.
"Childhood obesity has definitely increased in the last couple of years," said Dr Paula Goel, from the Fayth Clinic in Mumbai, which runs a weight loss programme for adolescents.
"This is mainly because%u2026 they're not playing on the fields and they're spending so much time on sedentary activities that come with the affluent lifestyle.
"Visiting the malls over the weekends, eating junk food, it's bound to cause obesity."

Anoop Misra, president of the Center for Diabetes, Obesity and Cholesterol Disorders in New Delhi, says India has the highest number of diabetics in the world at just under 51 million people.
But that number could increase by nearly 150 percent in the next 20 years, he warned.
"Obesity had reached epidemic proportions in the 21st century" Mr Kao said. "This size of China's population means that over one-fifth of the one billion of the world obese come from China."
The SensaSlim distribution partnership in Asia is a new direction away from the franchise model that was trialled in Australia.
"We believe that the lesson learnt from Australia is that the future is not in retail distribution by franchisees." SensaSlim Sales Manager for Asia, Mr Mark Lee said.
"The internet has changed the world and opened up new methods of selling and distribution and this is seen in the increase worldwide of home based businesses and the decline in traditional franchises."
"We also learnt that taste is a major issue so we have ceased manufacturing SensaSlim Solution and replaced it with the new formulation that is super effective in generating weight loss, and also has a very pleasant vanilla taste," he said. "We anticipate that SensaSlim Slimming Spray will be introduced throughout India, China, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines and Indonesia in the first quarter of 2012," Mr Lee said.

SensaSlim Asia announced that it is commencing clinical trials of the new SensaSlim Slimming spray in China and India later this month.
"We are running double-blind placebo-controlled clinical trials on 400 patients over six months," he said. "We expect the results to be published in a peer-reviewed medical journal in 2012."
The SensaSlim Slimming Spray is believed by many to be the most effective weight loss product available on the market in the world today.
The potent active ingredients enter the blood stream and naturally suppress the appetite. Simultaneously, the taste buds are pleasantly desensitised by a natural herb. This sends a message to the brain that suppresses the appetite, without affecting the central nervous system.
SensaSlim is being described as a "dieter's dream", the easy way to lose weight without ever feeling hungry.

High Use of Sensaslim Spray Attracts Warnings
SensaSlim, the revolutionary spray for weight reduction attracts attention at the The Obesity Society's 29th Annual Scientific Meeting

The Obesity Society's Annual Scientific Meeting has grown to be one of the world's largest gatherings of obesity scientists presenting cutting-edge research.

However scientists in Florida this week have warned stressed out models about the dangers of having "too much of a good thing" with their use of the new slimming phenomenon, the Sensaslim Slimming Spray which is being hailed as a "model's miracle".

Sensaslim has reportedly become the favourite amongst celebrities including supermodel Heidi Klum, Kim Kardashian, Alica Keys, Emma Roberts, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Stacy Ferguson , Kanye West, Kelly Osbourne, Kirsten Dunst and Vanessa Hudgens.

Sensaslim's Swiss neuroscientists reported that they have developed what they believe may be the safest, most effective and easiest way to lose weight. Created following 20 years of research of taste, weight and appetite control, Sensaslim is said to be an all-natural oral spray that 'tricks' the brain into thinking you are full, satiated and satisfied, causing you to eat less.

They claim that it is the first weight loss product to uniquely act on all four areas of the body %u2500 mouth, nose, stomach and brain %u2500 to promote weight loss. It is the first to be launched in an easy-to-use mouth spray format, which works nine times faster than pills.

However concerns were raised with the news that supermodels in New York and London were clamouring to get the Sensaslim slimming spray.

Dr. Richard Bergman, PhD, the honoured presidential keynote speaker at Obesity 2011 warned that models needed to eat more sensibly, not less and that it was potentially dangerous for them to have "too much of a good thing."

Erin O'Connor, the super model and founder of the Model Sanctuary is another one who urges caution.

The Model Sanctuary, housed by a full-time nutritionist and psychologist, is a safe, confidential place where models can discuss issues relating to the modelling world such as eating disorders, stress and self-esteem problems. At the London house, over a thousand models have walked through the doors.

"The talk this year amongst the boys and girls is all about the SensaSlim Slimming Spray and they are describing it as a model's miracle," Erin said.

"As a model for 15 years I understand the attraction of a product that takes your mind of food so you are never hungry, but like all good things, it needs to be used wisely," she said.

Sensaslim Research Director Dr Sommerville said Sensaslim was only to be administered three times a day, by two sprays onto the tongue, ten minutes before meals, and should not be used instead of food entirely.

"SensaSlim removes the call of action to eat, by fooling the brain into believing that you are full," he said. " In simple terms, if you don't think of food, you don't crave food, you don't eat food. The weight just drops off."

"Sensaslim was not designed for the underweight or normal weighted people but for those who are overweight or obese and need to lose large amount of weight," he said. "We would not encourage models to use it more than once a day as it is may work too well, as we saw in the case of a jockey who over did it."
