Dealing with Sensory Integration Dysfunction
When our youngest was a toddler, we knew he had speech issues, but we did not have a name to put to his sometimes bizarre sensitivities. He ended up getting tested and diagnosed with Sensory Integration Dysfunction, and that helped us (and him) get help and learn coping strategies to help get us all though.
