What Google And The Internet Marketing Gurus Are Not Telling Us!

Okay, I'll admit it. I have never been one to play by the rules. It's just my nature. I've always been the one who has strayed a different direction from the rest of the flock. I've always believed, that if you follow the rest of the sheep, they might lead you to the wolves. Most recently, in the world of internet marketing, this way of thinking has payed off for me in a big way. Let me explain.

Most every internet marketing guru known today, will tell you that, in order to be successful in internet marketing, you must be able to drive traffic to your website. And the best traffic, is the traffic you never have to pay for. Free traffic! And the best way to obtain this "free traffic" is through the use of SEO (search engine optimization).

A simple to understand definition of SEO would be, various techniques used to trick the search engine to list your website on the front page of certain keyword searches. So the "gurus" tell us that, in order to be effective at using SEO techniques you must first learn and understand the basic principles of SEO. They go on to tell us that, after employing these basic principles of SEO to your website, everything from then-on is gravy. You'll have a viral flood of hungry customers, pouring in to your site, begging you to sell them your product or services. "Baloney!"

That might be how it works in their world. But in my world, "the real world," that isn't how it works at all. I listened to the gurus. I followed their infinite wisdom and gracious advice. I spent hours learning the basic principles of SEO. And I put those principles into practice. And I got nothing! No traffic! No sales!

So I asked myself, "how can this be? I did everything the gurus said I should do. I followed all their examples and instructions right down to the letter. Did I miss something or do something terribly wrong?" So I went back to Google and began doing some searches to see if I could find some answer to why this "no fail" strategy of SEO might have failed. During my searches I went to a forum that I referred to often for tips and advise, when I noticed a short ad placed there by one of the members that read. "THE INTERNET MARKETING GURU THAT SAID GOODBYE TO GOOGLE! For more info, CLICK HERE!" That caught my interest. Because, by this time I was ready to say "GOODBYE TO GOOGLE!" And goodbye to internet marketing in general.

So, I clicked the link, That led me to an article written by Harvey Segal. After reading the article, I was astounded. "This guy really understands what I've been up against for the last several weeks!" Not only did I find out exactly why SEO did not work for me, I also found out the reason it didn't work, was not my fault at all. The main problem is that search engines such as Google, continually keeps changing the rules of SEO. So often in fact, that no knows really how to effectively use SEO.
I also found out that I have been intentionally mislead by these so called, "gurus," simply because they really don't want to give up the "real secrets" of getting large amounts of quality traffic to your site. I mean "really." Why would they? When you stop and think about it, wouldn't they really rather get that traffic to themselves first rather than reveal to you the true techniques that really works?

Harvey's article not only explained why SEO and search engines are not only a waste of time and hard effort, but he also showed me that I did not need to depend on the search engines at all to boost traffic to my websites. He showed me the secrets that internet marketing gurus has been using for years, but not willing to tell us about. He explained their techniques and showed me how to use them, so they can work much better with less effort than relying on SEO and search engines. And best of all, all these techniques are "FREE!"

This is when I came to the conclusion that, finally I have found an internet marketing guru who, like myself, decided to not follow the rest of the sheep and instead, go his own way. I'm sure that by him giving up these valuable secrets, and giving them up for free at that, it may have angered some on his fellow gurus. But, that's okay by me. Because now, I KNOW THEIR SECRETS!
