Automotive SEO
The automotive industry in the UK has almost all been changed from one of manufacturing and pioneering, to one of sales and distribution.
However even this side of things has even struggled in recent years even with the governments introduction of the 'scrappage scheme' as people generally are being more careful with their money.
SEO plays a big part in the automotive industry; as much manufacturing has gone, the remainder is either big business or small manufacturers. There is not a great deal in-between. The automotive sector is dominated by the big car players that own the various brands we all know and recognise.
Most of the big car/van/truck manufacturers will handle SEO work internally along with other website work only using external companies for SEO advice.
Many of the smaller automotive companies do not even have websites, so would not really need SEO support.
One of the main factors that is important with automotive SEO is industry knowledge both of the automotive industry and automotive marketing. If the SEO company knows the automotive sector, knows how it works, knows the companies around the industry and the market trends then they are likely to do a good job. Wrong.
By paying more money for the most expensive SEO company you are not going to get the best optimised website quickly.
SEO takes time, hard work and more time. Search engines like to sit and wait; they have a very complicated formula to judge their rankings - and no SEO company knows these formulas.
The best thing to do would be to go to an SEO company that knows the automotive sector and get them to quote. Compare this to other SEO companies that have worked in the industry and find the best one.
How?
By chatting to their current clients; find out how their clients find their work; are they climbing up the search engines. How quickly they are getting results and how cost effective is it.
Finding the best SEO company is difficult and takes time to research - however best to do this rather than spend money and time and achieve very little.
