SEO Makeover - Give your site a little Love

Hey, wassup!

Do you have a website? -- yeah.

What is it for? -- personal, business, your pets' etc.

Is it doing well in terms of search engine ranking? -- 'nope

Do you want your site to rank well in organic searches so you could bring more people to your site? -- in these competing times, you need an SEO miracle.

Tired of waiting for the Miracle? -- well if you're just waiting, you should go and do some fishing as well. You need to give it a "SEO Makeover".

This is not an advise on how to effectively implement it. 'can't assist you with that 'coz I'm not an expert - actually, NO ONE IS.

There are some marketing experts that sometimes call themselves SEO EXPERTS after spending just an hour or two reading an ebook that they downloaded somewhere. They sometimes charge a hefty price tag or their services.

I'm not saying they're bad. What their doing is actually good. They distribute and share knowledge. They help individuals and businesses with what they lack - a knowledge in search engine optimization.

For SEO Experts? Please don't be mad, I know you have the right to use that title but what I'm just saying is ''technically", no one can become an expert on these subject.

If you can tell me exactly how the algorithms of all the major search engines work and how you can use it to upgrade a site's ranking, then I'll delete this lens right away.

As I said, I'm not here to give advise for you site's makeover, BUT if I where to give advise for example, to a very close friend, I'd say:

Before handing over that hard earned money to someone promising you a Google Top 10, give yourself time to ask and learn about his track records.

One thing you'll learn is that "SEO is a waiting game". You wait, wait, and wait. It's a game so you'll lose somehow and in this game, only the most resilient prevail.

There are many rewards in learning and doing your own optimization and the following are just some:

1.You can call yourself "Search Engine Optimization Expert" and if you are lucky, people too may address you as such.

2. You will have the opportunity of doing SEO in a different way opposed to what people are doing right now which is copying each other's techniques almost perfectly - thanks YouTube.

3. You will save hundreds of bucks. All you need is some knowledge, patience and time.

4 . If you need a job, you can use this knowledge to take on some Search Engine Optimization jobs online. Visit www.odesk.com, they have a bunch of online jobs there.

5. The most important thing you'll learn is that the saying "Patience is Virtue" definitely ROCKS!

No matter what you choose for your site's Makeover, be it a "Do-it-Yourself" or "Let Someone Do it" thing, you'll never go wrong if you have the necessary knowledge, even the most basic knowledge will do. Make your own research, I assure you it will be a fulfilling experience.
