Sergio Garcia Golf

Sergio Garcia is a Spanish golfer that grew up next to a golf course. His professional golf career started in 1999. Sergio's swing was a bit unorthodox at the beginning of his professional career. This swing was compared to the legendary golfer, Ben Hogan. In 2003, Sergio went to a more conventional swing partially due to some criticism of his grip and re-gripping of the golf club. If you look at some videos of Sergio Garcia's golf swing you can see an almost textbook like swing that is consistent time after time. Sergio was the youngest player to ever compete in the Ryder Cup and he gained his initial popularity at the beginning of his pro golf career dueling with none other than Tiger Woods in the 1999 PGA Championship, where he finished in second place. Because of his success and young age, Sergio is compared many times to Tiger Woods.
