Colocation in a Tier IV Datacenter

One size does not necessarily fit all. That's as true for web hosting as it is for clothing. Maybe your website doesn't necessarily need to hog an entire server at your web hosting company. And that's basically what you do when you pay for web hosting. You're renting server space and bandwidth. With Pay Per Cloud, we can customize your hosting plan to suit your needs. Need an off-site facility to store that server with your valuable data on it? We can do that, too, with our Server Colocation services.

What is Server Colocation?

Colocation ServicesServer Colocation allows you to keep your server in an off-site location and still access all your valuable data. This is great for companies that operate in high-risk areas like the fault lines in Califonia, which sees frequent earthquakes, or Tornado Alley, where one well-placed twister can wipe out your entire place of business. No place is 100% safe from natural disasters, fire or losing all your data in an on-site server crash, so it simply makes sense to have an off-site backup for your data. Pay Per Cloud offers server colocation services in Sacramento, California, with 24/7 broadband accessibility available so you can access your data anytime.

Why Server Colocation?

Server ColocationServer Colocation is the perfect solution for the small and medium-sized business that finds they simply don't have the space or the resources to host their own servers.

Colocation offers security that you just can't get when hosting your own data center. It also offers the best in network security, including the firewalls, backup systems, and DDoS attack mitigation. Of course, you are also better protected in all sorts of environmental situations such as tornadoes, fires, floods.

When you are leasing from a colocation provider, you only pay for the bandwidth that you actually use. The bursting capacity of a data center makes bandwidth readily available during these spikes, and again, the cost is distributed amongst many customers.

Data centers provide redundant power sources that may be cost-prohibitive for the average small to medium-sized business to provide on their own. When colocating, you have use of multiple power grids, diesel generators, multiple battery backup systems, and full surge and lightning protection.

Colocation server hosting is very necessary for the companies. Every one needs backup of their data. Natural as well as man-made calamities can trash all the things out. That's where server co-location is introduced. Its a nice service every company should have.

I like how you specified that this would be useful for people living a highly likely natural disaster areas. I think with current events something like this would be incredibly useful. Even considering how many Japanese likely lost a lot of business and personal data due to the flood, it makes a lot of sense.

I like this idea. It makes a lot of sense in terms of saving money by purchasing only what I need and being able to upscale as needed over time, plus having my data protected in another location in case of disaster. Thanks for helping me understand this better!
