The Facts: Squidoo helps charities. Big time! Every month, a large number of non-profit partners receive thousands of dollars through Squidoo.com! Many lensmasters designate a percentage or all of their lens royalties to one or more of their favorite charitable organizations.
For the month of December 2008, Squidoo's Top Charity Lensmaster Comfortdoc has created the "Spirit of the Season" Challenge to raise money for these non-profit partners:
- Children's Defense Fund
- Dog Tags for Kids
- Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation
- My Two Front Teeth
- Room to Read
- Save the Children
The Rules:
Make a new lens and designate a minimum of 10% to one of these charities. Or, convert an existing lens to benefit these partners with at least 10% of your royalties.
Important! Only lenses created in November or December of 2008 are eligible for prizes!
Submit your entries to the link voting plexo on this page, together with one question for Seth and/or Megan in the text voting plexo underneath.

- Hats off to you Chef and Comfortdocs for putting this all together. I didn't see any deadline on submission and was working to get in a lens before the year ended. But I just found out that the winners were announced even though there's still hours left ticking before 2008 comes to an end. Consolation prize for the oopsie? Get Seth to answer my question?
