Setia Pearl Island Penang

After SP Setia commenced this project in Penang island, the real estate market here was pushed to a new height.
Currently, most new residential projects for landed property consist of 2 1/2 & 3-storey terrace houses, and semi-detached.
The price range from RM600k to over a million ringgit.

The show village is so nicely built. What I feel great about is the prestige it makes you perceive, as if it is the best place to stay in Penang island.

But the fact is that the area is so "ulu". It might takes 20-30 minutes drive after you exit Penang Bridge to arrive home.

All the houses are built on the two-generation concept, where there are 5 rooms, including two identical master bedroom.

This is a smart move because most young generation will not be able to afford a home that cost over RM800,000! It might be affordable if the older generation sell their "old house", then buy one at Setia Pearl Island. Probably putting a down payment of RM400,000, then ask the younger generation to loan the rest.

The result is, the younger generation will have to stay with their old parents. This seems to be the trend. If not, why all the units in first and second phases are sold out within a few weeks after launched?
