Sex and the City
Sex and the City is loved by many as series but now a movie is being filmed, and will soon hit the movie theaters.
The series were started back in 1998 and won over hearts of many fans! Sex and the City is set in New York. In a small Upper Westside Manhattan apartment, Carrie Bradshaw, single, sexy, and inteligent is contemplating men, friends, shoes, fashion etc.! She has three beautiful sexy single and inteligent friends: Samantha, Miranda, Charlotte. Each of them is charming in her own way. The friends are very different but are very similar in their search for true love... you will for sure associate with one of the characters.
Some can see the series as very superficial but I believe they reflect in a very easy to understand manner the issues women of the late 1990s were dealing with, and how female perception by the society and women's social role was changing
The show was mostly filmed at New York City's Silvercup Studios and on location in and around Manhattan.

Sarah Jessica Parker(born March 25, 1965) is a well-known American actress who has a big portfolio of television, movie, and theater performances. However what made her most famous is her role as Carrie Bradshaw, newspaper journalist, in search of love and truth, portrayed in Sex and the City.
After the series, Parker has become very influential in the world of fashion. she hosted the MTV Movie Awards in 2000 and changed into 15 different outfits throughout the show.

Happily married to actor Matthew Broderick and has a son called James Wilkie Broderick, born on October 28, 2002

Born in Liverpool, England, and raised on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada, Cattrall moved to New York City by herself at the age of 16 to attend the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
On graduation, film director Otto Preminger signed her to a 5-year film contract.
Kim had numerous roles but her major ones where in the Academy Award nominated "Tribute" and in "Ticket to Heaven" which resulted in Lead Actress Genie nomination (Canadian Oscars) for her performance.

Cynthia Nixon

Cynthia Nixon is a native New Yorker. She made her feature debut in Little Darlings (1980) co-staring with Kristy McNichol and Tatum O'Neal. Cynthia also performed in numerous Broadway plays: Romeo and Juliet, The Heidi Chronicles, Angels in America etc. In 1996 she received a Tony nomination for her performance in Indiscretions (Les Parents Terribles). Sex and the City was a major step for her carrier. She was nominated for an Emmy award as Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series in 2002 and 2003, she got the trophy in 2004 for the series' final season.
Private Life: Nixon has two children, daughter Samantha (b. 1996) and son Charles Ezekiel (b. 16 December 2002), with Danny Mozes, an English professor. Their relationship ended in 2003.
In September 2004, it was reported that Nixon was in a nearly year-long relationship with the education activist Christine Marinoni. In an interview to New York Magazine in 2006, Nixon said: "I never felt like there was an unconscious part of me around that woke up or that came out of the closet; there wasn't a struggle, there wasn't an attempt to suppress. I met this woman, I fell in love with her, and I'm a public figure."

Kristin Davis

Kristin Landen Davis was born in Colorado February 23. Most of her childhood she lived in South Carolina. After graduating from Rutgers University (New Jersey) in 1987, Davis moved to New York and worked as a waitress before opening a yoga studio with a friend.
Her breakthrough happened in 1995 with a role of Brooke Armstrong Campbell on Melrose Place. However Sex and the City marked her major career step.
Other films include The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3D, the Walt Disney Pictures film The Shaggy Dog, Beyond the Skyline etc.
Private Life:
Not Married but has a nice list of high-profile boyfriends which includes Mike Baldwin.
Davis had a problem with alchohl which she battled back: "I'm 12 years sober, so I don't have beer! When I used to drink I really liked Bass Ale!"[4]
