According to the review, the characters of the series have grown emotionally, in the sense that their priorities have changed - although they are no less glamorous.
Shoes and clothes the fifth and sixth stars of the movie. But what I am looking forward to seeing for myself is the development of Carrie's relationship with Mr. Big, Miranda with her hubby Steve, Charlotte with Harry and Samantha - is she still with that hottie Smith Jerrod or has she moved on to another bed?
I actually would not care if the plot of the movie seems a bit to soap-operatic. These are the characters that women of my generation have grown to love over the number of years that the series was shown on TV. I'm sure that SATC fans will find the film as satisfying as a box of chocolates!!!

I must admit I've seen each episode at least 3 times and would watch them again! They're so entertaining and now the girls just feel like old friends, so when the movie came out it was like getting together for a girl's night out. Just loved it! I'm not sure it's the best series EVER, but it's the one I've enjoyed the most, so I guess I will have to say Yes! Yes! Yes!

no. this was a series written predominatly by gay men, and some people thought that was great. it was about women. so, first it really did suck and it's hollywood crappolla. much as all the rest of the materially that get's releasted today. think, the devil wears prada. i mean who's idea was it to film this stink fest, or terminater 3. i hope they got fired. the show may have won lots of rewards, but that's more an indication of what an inward, narcissictic, incesteous group of people work out there. and i'm talking mostly about producers, directors, investors, syncophants, and other losers hooked up with the system.

Sex in the City is a great chic flick. Only one guy in the entire theater. The designer fashions are totally amazing, especially the bridal. If you followed the series, you'll enjoy the movie. Totally best series, no sorry, I like Dexter, Six Feet Under (over now), and Sopranos (also history).

- What can I say? this is my favotite programme ever!!! I was so excited in the cinema! I went with a bunch of my gay friends and we were all nearly hyperventilating in the chair! One more season pleeeeeease!!!!!!!!!!!!

- I used to be a tour guide for Sex & the City tours in NYC (yes, you can take a three hour tour that will take you to locations from the show, a store where you can buy a 'rabbit,' and to a bar for a cosmo). I was always touched and amazed by how many women from ALL over the world had such a deep connection with the show. They sure got something right. Great lens!
