    The advice here is admirable, but the one thing people are not accounting for is the difference in men and women as sexual beings. Men are totally and almost constantly consumed with the thought of sex, when we last had it, how good it was, and when we can have it next. Women, in general, see sex as a chore, or something burdensome. Obviously not all men or women feel the way I stated, but for the most part women, especially after children or in a marriage, don't see the need for, nor do they desire sex at all. As a man this is a hugh shot to you emotionally. Personally I would love for my wife to "want" me. We have talked about this at lenght, though I do not pressure her. I consider myself a good husband and father, and I do my share and then some of houswork and childcare. But the fact remains that my wife just isn't interested in sex. So all the good advice and tips here aside, as a man you have two choices. Resort to "loving" yourself ALOT, or stray from your marriage. I would never cheat on my wife so I resort to one on one time with myself and the once every three month quikie that I have to initiate.

    When dealing with a sexless marriage, it's usually the person looking to save the marriage who does all the work - my respect goes out to those people who are trying to save their marriage and bring back the intimacy.
