Pantyhose, Stockings and Tights

 

Stockings, Pantyhose and Tights manufacturered from silk, wool, cotton but most commonly nylons, cover women's legs and yet allow them to be seen. Stockings generally stop at the leg or thigh, while pantyhose and tights go up to the waist. The difference between pantyhose and tights depend on what country you live in. They are usually the same thing, but tights may be made of a heavier material and are less transparent.

1959 Glen Raven, a US fabric manufacturer invented and marketed the first pantyhose and this forever changed the market for lingerie. Today, there are many international manufacturers of pantyhose, stockings and tights. A few of the top quality, most respected companies are mentioned below.
