SFX: The World's Number One Sci-Fi And Fantasy Magazine

It was about 1999 that I came across SFX, it was around the time that Alien:Resurrection was about to be released and it had on the front cover an alien facehugger hugging onto the earth, I don't know why, but I was interested in buying the magazine back then, and I have bought it ever since, it's comprehensive reviews of all things science fiction and fantasy related on tv and in film just appealed to me.

One of the best things I like about it, it gives precise information about what's hot and what's not as far as the publishing and editorial team are concerned, they are fans of the genre themselves and it shows within their words and article ramblings, rants and raves.

I also like it when they preview or showcase a favourite tv series with news on such tv gems as Heroes or Supernatural to name a few, they interview the stars/actors and do it with flair.

Another great thing about this magazine they review dvds, comics and games at such an expert level as fans they know aswell as I that they are contributing fan based reviews.
