Shaheen Jafargholi Discovered by Britains Got Talent 2009

Do you my Dear Readers remember Paul Potts? Or perhaps Connie Talbot? They were gems that have been uncovered by the show Britain's Got Talent (BGT). Talents discovered in this show, in my opinion, shames those that have been found in American Idol or other similar shows.

The latest episodes of BGT 2009 is now again creating and uncovering newer and better talents. But nothing compares to the performance of Susan Boyle... until Shaheen Jafargholi entered the show. A 12-year old kid imbued with the power of Michael Jackson's voice. He didn't really rock the world like Susan did... but his outstanding performance is making waves that could overturn Susan Boyles sand castle. I'm not taking sides... both are strong contenders. But as in all competitions only one must prevail.

Will it be one of them? :-) Go Susan!!! Bwahahahahaha!!!!

A Short History of Britains Got Talent

...a primer for those who do not know BGT 2009

'''Britains Got Talent ''' is a British television show on ITV and part of the Got Talent'' series. Presented by British celebrity presenters Ant & Dec, singers, dancers, comedians, variety acts, and other performers compete against each other for audience support. The winner of each series receives £100,000 and is given the opportunity to perform at the Royal Variety Performance in front of members of the Royal Family, including the Queen. The first series of the talent show began on 9 June 2007, and was broadcast daily with a live final on 17 June 2007, in which Paul Potts won. Street-dancer George Sampson went on to win the second series of the show on 31 May 2008. The third series began on 11 April 2009, and ended on 30 May 2009, with Diversity winning the competition, while Scotswoman Susan Boyle, whose audition performance of I Dreamed a Dream sparked an Internet sensation, ended up in second place.

    Hi,

Great Lens! You know what, i didn't think Shaheen was as good last night as his original audition. Also i think we are forgeting about another singer in the Final Sean Smith!

We also have a few dance acts who could well grab the title. Not sure if i'm allowed to leave a link (if not let me know), but please have a look through my lens http://www.squidoo.com/The-Hairy-Angel about Susan Boyle! 5 star given!

    Cheers

When I first watched the video, I thought you must have been crazy...he didn't sound all that good and when Simon stopped him, I just about had a heart attack. As soon as Shaheen starts up again I got goosebumps and they didn't go away until the song was over. What amazing talent and he's only 12??? Excellent job picking a diamond in the rough that might otherwise have been missed. :)
