Shance Boyd (aka) Shance Boyd (aka) Shancie was destined to be a star from the day he was born at Cedars Sinai Hospital - Hospital of the Stars, on October 31, 1989. At the tender age of 7, his parents had divorced, growing up in South Central, Los Angeles with a single mother times were difficult. Opportunities of negative behavior ran to Shancie with open arms. He knew that was not to go. Turning 13, Shancie's mother decided on a life changing decision, to move from South Central Los Angeles to Orange County, California; in order to give Shancie a better life and opportunity to pursue his dreams. Times have not been easy for them financially, physically, and mentally, but Shancie knew he had to persevere. He knew he had a passion for music.

At the age of 11, he was hip hopping and free styling. Shancie's grandmother who was his idol and his mentor would say to him,
"Shancie never give up on your dreams." Shancie has never given up on his dreams.

Now, 18 years old and graduated from Aliso Niguel High School, as a model student. The impressive combination of raw talent and perseverance has contributed to Shancie's eagerness to take the world of hip-hop to new heights. Becoming an artist in the hip-hop industry that conveys a positive message to the youth of all cultures is one of his biggest goals.

Shancie's performances include private parties such as Sweet 16's, car shows, and various high school events across Southern California.
