Graduating from The Chadwick School in 1987, Shannon Lee then attended Tulane University in New Orleans, where she studied voice and graduated in 1991. She moved back to Los Angeles in 1993 after her brother's(Brandon Lee) death to pursue acting. She married lawyer Ian Keasler in 1994, and they have one daughter, Wren, who was born in 2003.

Despite its low budget, the movie has a lot of really nice production qualities, as well as some good acting done by Antonio Sabato Jr., Antonio Sabato Sr., George Kee Cheung, James Lew, Amy Smart, Shannon Lee, and William Zabka. The gun battles are spectacular as well as the fight sequences, thanks to Koichi Sakamoto and the Alpha Stunt team, who have brought a much needed upgrade to the American standard of martial arts entertainment.

Being an action film junkie all my life, I have come to the conclusion that the only reason why I "liked" the shtick featuring Billy Blanks, Gary Daniels, Olivier Gruner, Cynthia Rothrock and Richard Norton (Post HK film career), Jalal Merhi, and Don "The Dragon" Wilson, was because it was all I ever had thrown in my face for almost 10 years. American cinema has a chance to redeem itself, and nonetheless continues to waste its efforts on films like Pit Fighter (don't cast Scott Adkins if you're not going to use him) and Lessons For An Assassin (Koichi and Shannon should be ashamed for that one).

Shannon made her acting debut playing a cameo in her father's biopic film Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story in 1993
She went onto act in several low budget films including High Voltage (1997), Enter the Eagles (1998) and Lessons for an Assassin (2001). She also guest-starred in an episode of the television series Martial Law alongside Sammo Hung in 1998 and appeared in the science-fiction television film Epoch which first aired on the Sci Fi Channel in 2000. She was also the television host of WMAC Masters for the first season.
She is currently the president of the The Bruce Lee Foundation. She also sang on the band Medicine's album The Mechanical Forces of Love in 2003. Shannon also sang a cover of "I'm in the Mood for Love" for the movie China Strike Force (2000), which starred Lee Hom Wang and Aaron Kwok. She is the executive producer of the upcoming 2008 television series The Legend of Bruce Lee based on her father's life.

This movie is definitely worth viewing and the sole reason is Shannon Lee. She does a great job all around and the potential she possesses is instantly noticeable. It's a shame she is not offered more mainstream roles.
The only downside to this film is when Shannon is not in a particular scene and that definitely means a lot. She saves this movie from being a complete failure.
Overall I highly recommend this picture, although it's not a masterpiece (far from it) it's a stepping stone for Shannon to expand her career and move onto bigger and better things.
