I don't know about you, but I live and breath with my email. As I have told many of you, my addiction to eMail started back in the 1990 when I started work for Intel Corporation, working on a team that helped roll out PC based eMail to every employee world wide.
At the time the CEO Andy Grove, made the statement that eMail was going to be the 1st Killer application for the PC. He was right, Everyone has eMail today. My parents, my neighbors, my friends, and every business person I know uses their eMail to organize their lives.
One of the most amazing things to me is that many people still rely on a free email account as the sole repository for their business email. I'll admit, I got spoiled using Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Outlook when I work at Intel. Having access to my account from anywhere is really important to me. Being able to have rules that help me keep my mail sorted is also a big deal.
If you are looking to improve you productivity you should be looking at leveraging the great tools available to users of Hosted Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Outlook 2007.
