Being A Friendly, Social, Community Squid
There are many things that are great about Squidoo.
One of the things I like about Squidoo is that everything is so relaxed and friendly here. Nobody is telling me to create lenses or to visit lenses or anything else. I can do as much or as little as I like and nobody will criticize me.
Another thing I like about Squidoo is that it rewards friendly, unselfish people.
The more we contribute the more we receive.
This lens is about how we can contribute to each other's success and enjoy the benefits of being part of this great community that we call Squidoo.

You Can Bless, Even If You Aren't an Angel
As a Squid-Angel I am able to leave an Angel-Blessing on any lens which I feel merits one. However even before I was an Angel I was still able to bless my fellow Squidooers. Not with an Angel-Blessing, but with likes, comments and other activity on their lenses.
Every visit is a small blessing. A Squid-like is an even bigger blessing. A comment is another blessing. As a Squid-Angel I just have one extra blessing that I can give.
Angel or not, let's all be a blessing to each other.

Why I Love My Activity Stream
I'm so pleased that my Activity Stream is now my default dashboard setting. It tells me so much about other Squids and what they have been doing on my lenses and it gives me links to profiles of people who have been kind enough to visit and take part on my lenses.
I enjoy reading other peoples lenses and taking part in the activities that they provide. My Activity Stream leads me to so many excellent lensmasters. It's an excellent resource.

What happens when you comment on a lens
It's always good to be able to leave a comment on a lens. Once a comment has been approved this is what happens
- You gain some activity points
- The lensmaster gains some activity points
- You comment will show on the lens with a link to your profile
On Leaving Comments
Try to leave a comment that adds something to the lens topic.
"Great lens!" is nice, but it doesn't really add much.
If you would like to comment, you can do it here.

- I think you can not learn all things in just one sitting.. You can learn all of them as you start using Squidoo. That's what I find out here. I want to learn the ins of Squidoo but I always ends up being incomplete at all. Anyway, the community here is what I find attractive. Thanks for this nice lens. Keep it up! :)

- I agree with you, this Squidoo community is awesome! Never any pressure to get things done and you can move along at your own pace while learning at the same time. Thanks for putting this lens together.

- I have been really impressed by the community here at squidoo, the writers seem to really care about the topics they share and contribute and it is a welcoming change from some other writing sites I have been apart of.

- I came to Squidoo via Hubpages, nothing to say there since one should say nice things, but the difference between the two platforms is mind boggling and in a way this lens sums up what is so great about squidoo ... it's community. Were it not for Zut_Moon sending me some guidance I would still be mostly lost. I only hope to give back as much as I seem to be given.

- It is true that the more we help our fellow Squidooers, the more we get back.
I have experienced this myself over the years.

- I really like the new dashboard default, too. This is a nice explanation of how you can "bless" other lensmasters! Thanks! :)

- I always try to make my comments refer to what I liked about the lens. I like this because it tells why it's a good idea to like and comment on a lens. Good for you and good for me.
