To put it simply, this thing is awesome. You can clean just about any flooring surface with very little trouble. You may have heard bad things about these Shark Steam Cleaners in the past. Some of the bad things I have heard include small cord, small water tank, no pivoting head, and a very flimsy handle. After it is ready to go you will be able to clean a very large area without stopping. The Shark has a tank which holds just under 2 cups of water (their main competitors Haan and and Eureka hold 1 cup and 1 and a half cups respectively) and a 30 foot cable ( Hann and Eureka are both about 18').

With the new pivoting head and large cleaning cloth you will be able to clean with both sides of the pad without any trouble. This cleaner also includes 2 interchangeable mop heads and 4 washable microfiber cleaning pads as well as a carpet glider attachment to clean carpet.

Like I said in the previous section, I bought mine from buy.com. It took me a little while to decide to buy from them but in retrospect I wish I had just bought it immediately.

I was looking for a shark steam cleaner at our local brick and mortar stores, one of them (Bed Bath and Beyond if I remember correctly) was quit a bit more expensive than the other store.
