By Sharon Stajda,
Did You know human skin can absorbs up to 64% of what place on it. So shouldn't we be feeding our skin products packed full of healthy vitamins ?
Skin aging is largely due to free radicals which can attack healthy skin at the cellular level. Which will over time resulting in the appearance of dull, dry, damaged skin. Studies have shown that antioxidants can help in the fight against free radicals, and combat the damage they leave behind.
Vitamins such as C Esters, E, and A, are powerful antioxidants, and are potent fighters aiding in destroying free radical, and neutralizing their anti-inflammatory properties. It stands to reason, less damage from inflammation, less shin trauma to the skin. Which gives the skin a fighting chance to stay youthful.
Vitamin C along with its high levels of antioxidants not only fights damage from free radicals, but C is very important when it comes to the production of collagen. Collagen is one of the elements that supports skins texture, and firmness. Vitamin C also has a brightening effect, which helps even out discoloration.
Vitamin A is shown to can help diminish the depth of wrinkles. It also along with C has an inflammatory action. Vitamin A puffs up' the skin by attracting moisture to the area its applied. This healthy moisture level, aids in keeping the skin well hydrated, and helps to flush out impurities. This puffing action also stands to decrease the look of deep wrinkles. Leaving the skin looking younger.
Vitamin E is well known for its antioxidant capabilities. Vitamin E has also been shown to have a variety of skin benefits. Studies's have shown that vitamin E can help decrease the effects of psoriasis, erythema, and may help in reducing the risk of skin cancer. Vitamin E has also been shown to significantly help in the reduction of scaring.

Sun Exposure A Good Sorce Of Natural Vitamin D...
Keep in mind a little sun goes a long way.
Sun exposure is perhaps one of the most important source of vitamin D. Sunlight provides most humans with adequate vitamin D requirements. UV rays from the sun trigger vitamin D synthesis in human skin. An initial exposure to sunlight 10 -15 minutes allows adequate time for Vitamin D synthesis, and should be followed by application of a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 15 to protect the skin. Sunscreens with a sun protection factor (SPF) of 8 or greater will block UV rays that produce vitamin D. Keep in mind it is still important to routinely use sunscreen to help prevent skin cancer and other negative consequences of excessive sun exposure.Protecting your skin daily with an SPF product is important all year-round. Keep this in mind, your skin needs sun protection not just during the summer months, but in the colder months too. So-- keep up a good regiment of applying sunscreen all year round. It will keep your skin from getting sun damage that can ultimately make you look older. So, which sunscreens are best for the skin?
