Sharpie Markers
"Sharpie" is the brand name for permanent markers manufactured by Sanford. They can be used in a wide variety of application, such as labeling, artwork, cartooning, lettering signs, graffiti, image design, "body art", signing autographs on glossy photos, nail polish, and as a cheap high.
The first Sharpie marker was created in 1964. Sharpie has expanded into a wide product line of 35 colors since then. Sharpies are now sold in seven varieties, according to the shape and size of their tip(s). The tips range from "Ultra Fine" to "Magnum" depending on the thickness of the tip. They now also are available in 34 colors, along with metallic silver.
Each Sharpie has a printed seal from the Art & Creative Materials Institute certifying the marker as being non-toxic. Despite this, people still use the fumes from permanent markers to "huff" and obtain a short lived, cheap high.

- I need to know what sniffing a marker will do? Some kid told my grandson that you can get high sniffing a Sharpie marker. What happens to your brain so I can let him know? I also want to know so he can tell his friend. Thanks
