Shaver Seal of Approval

When an organization, company, or community is awarded the right to display the Interdependent Project brand and/or Shaver Seal of Approval it means that it has qualified as a "Fear Free Solutions Sphere" and has met the Interdependent Project's standard of "trust". The brand and/or seal appearing on a website has been determined by the Interdependent Project to be a overall "solution" oriented organization, company, or community.

In these days of information overload and hyper-fear based delivery of that information, it is important for a raising of the standard bar. The Interdependent Project Content Guidelines puts forth a standard of delivery that "acknowledges and affirms the natural dominant goodness of our species and provides a platform for us to engage in the creative work of learning how to live upon our planet in ways that are conducive towards not our ability to "survive" but our ability to truly live."

As we all move forward in our evolution towards sustainable living we must ask ourselves, "what is it that we wish to sustain?"

Many well intentioned organizations, businesses, communities, and individuals have become habituated to fear-based-doom-gloom delivery of their messages and the Interdependent Project, through its content guidelines and quality standard, is inviting these groups and individuals to examine the long term effectiveness of that approach.

As the Interdependent Project grows and evolves the standards that it has begun with will also grow and evolve - a continual raising of the bar can be expected.

The Interdependent Project is about advocating, promoting, educating, networking, implementing, and dispersing information and ideas related to the Interdependent Sustainable Living Matrix and sustainable living.

Our project is a SOLUTION based matrix - although education and awareness focused on our "problems" plays an important part in our transition as a species, most content available is produced from fear based catastrophobic ideologies that ultimately alienate a huge part of the human population from being able to participate in the process of regeneration.

Because of this, our project is putting forth guidelines not for the purpose of censorship, but to raise the standard of how we approach our shared responsibility toward the changes we are making as a species as we grow into our roles as natural stewards of our home.

Many parents have struggled endlessly with the fact that no matter how much they yell at their teenager to clean up their room, or threaten various consequences, it is a complete act of futility if the inspiration and desire is not within the youth's heart to have the environment reflect a beauty and order that mirror's the hearts natural goodness. It is not that the message is wrong - it is that the way it is being delivered and communicated needs to be examined.

Beauty and order without kindness is tyranny and many within the environmental movement have a way of delivering messages that often reflects a deep unconscious resentment towards their own species and espouse a code of living that does not allow for the creative inspired genius of our species to have a platform of expression. Many within the movement have taken on a "parental" role and those outside the movement rebel against the message that is coming from a root of fear based dogma that has no real place in the cultivation process of humanities natural tendency towards excellence.

The Interdependent Project acknowledges and affirms the natural dominant goodness of our species and provides a platform for us to engage in the creative work of learning how to live upon our planet in ways that are conducive towards not our ability to "survive" but our ability to truly live.

Content within our shows therefore will reflect the following basic tenets:

* That we are an intelligent species that is fully capable of finding solutions to any of our shared problems within our shared interdependent living system.

* That the nature of the problems has been fully documented and available through enough sources that are updated hourly.

* That the solutions to the problems have been under-documented and have had minimal voice within the arena of resources.

* That solutions that address the problems through fear based ideologies and fanatical viewpoints have minimal, if any, long term capacity to actually solve the problems.

* That blaming our problems on authorities outside of ourselves when addressing problems only takes us further from feeling empowered to make effective changes in our world.

* That it is only from an inspired place within our hearts that we can truly come together in cooperative systems and develop communities that actually change the status quo. Humans coming together in fear only create more fear.

* That because of this we need to bring forth into the matrix information and ideas that are addressed to an audience that we assume the highest level of intelligence and capacity for contribution from.

* That the content we create and contribute will speak to the hearts and minds of people and not the panic and fear we are all feeling during these transition times.

* That when we share our information we seek to educate in ways that inspire and motivate from a place of knowledge and hope - not opinion and repressed charge that damages the basic trust of our audience.

* That we strive through our contributions to create a platform that allows human's from all walks of life to feel included in the process and not labeled as problem sources. This means that we don't blame our problems on each other but strive to take our own responsibility through examining our own belief systems and choices.

These guidelines are subject to more specific expansion or refined explanation as this project evolves. We want to thank all of you who have joined with the Interdependent Project to deliver your message and brilliance to a collective humanity that is more than ready to move toward real solutions to our collective issues.

Joshua "Beau" Shaver - the gangsta lookin' guy with a cig hanging out of his mouth....the quality control inspector....

Before the Interdependent Project was born, a non-profit organization (EcoMinistry) existed that carried the same intent of advocating sustainable living and building a web portal to serve the movement.

Joshua Beau Shaver served on this organizations board of directors as our
"Quality Control Inspector" prior to his untimely death just after his 30 th birthday. Upon his death we vowed to carry his name and teachings that he brought to us
into the world that he had co-created a vision of.

Beau was a skater and a maverick humanitarian. He shared our vision of a more sustainable world and he believed in building bridges across the divides that separate us. One of his primary concerns in life was to make sure that the "youth" had access to information that was "solution" orientated and before his death he had opened up a "vegan-vegetarian" diner in Reno so that his friends would have access to healthy food (late at night). Beau also was working on a plan/strategy with the EcoMinistry to open an "Eco-Hostel" that could serve as an education center for his peers.

We depended on Beau for his sharp discernment and our "Shaver Quality Control Seal of Approval" is a symbol intended to convey a message that:

"Whoever bears this seal has been inspected by an ideology of the "Live~Four~Die~Four" Beau Shaver view that he imparted to us throughout the years we knew him and that the integrity of the bearer can be trusted."

This seal is the Interdependent Project's highest standard of trust and it is not given to any person, organization, or business that has not seriously contributed towards the fulfillment of the vision that will never die - a healthy and sustainable world.
