Who am I
Born in Texas, I have lived all over the USA, but am now living in Houston.
I use to work 3rd shift at Hewlett Packard as a cab builder. Now I have joined the ranks of the newly laid off. Have several irons in the fire and hopefully one will connect.
Below is a cab with blades already in and you can see some of the cables.
Some of the blades/servers weigh as much as 500 lbs and there are lifts to assist with insertion into the cabs.
I have 3 grown daughters who are settled into their life-paths. One is a Real Estate agent and candle maker, the second daughter is no longer an administrative asst for Philip Morris & Christian rapp song writer..she gave it all up to travel to the Philippines where she will be on a missionary team ;and the last daughter is a Dept. Manager with Lowes & a mommy.

Buying my first digital camera in 2006 opened up a whole other world for me. I use my digital photos of florals to make cards, mousepads, magnets, etc on Zazzle.com
My gallery is here: Sherry's Creations
I haven't too much experience in using the graphic programs to the fullest potential. I have made a few things using tubes or stamps. This is one area I want to get more training and help.

About my granddaughters
The two girls, ages 21 months & 8 months are more than I could wish for. I watch them during the day and when the youngest isn't crying, it is a very pleasurable experience. ;-)

Worldly Travels
In 1995 I visited Montréal, QC, Canada. Unfortunately I haven't any photos of that beautiful place.
Old Montréal was my favorite. It was like walking back in time for me.
In 2007 I went to Yucatan, Mexico. We visited the traditional tourist sites, booking the Mayaland package.
The ruins were great. What I can't understand is how a nation with so much oil, and to be so socialistic ... can have virtually no sanitation, no modern conveniences once you leave the cities. It was a "third world nation' experience, which I hope to never have again!
