Say my name...
Shia is being called the next "it boy" in Hollywood.
Sure, Shia LaBeouf earned an Emmy playing a poodle-haired goofball on the Disney kiddy comedy Even Stevens. He has also been seen in such movies as "The Greatest Game Ever Played" and thriller "Disturbia". Shia has proven his great range as a young actor.
LaBeouf's risky choices paid off when director Steven Spielberg saw him play a boy sentenced to boot camp in 2003's Holes. Comparing LaBeouf to a young Tom Hanks, Spielberg cast him in the summer blockbuster Transformers and now Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull with Harrison Ford and Cate Blanchett.
Shia has been in the news a lot lately for being a "bad boy". He was recently in an alcohol related car accident. He joins a long list of other young Hollywood celebs to get into trouble with the law.

When you can't get enough of him:
Transformers
Based on the popular toys that transform from machines into giant robots, this live-action movie from Pearl Harbor director Michael Bay finds the planet Cybertron inhabitants engaging in a secret war for control of Earth's natural resources, which they desperately need for fuel. Able to disguise themselves as cars, airplanes, boats and more, the transformers prove a tough enemy in this film.
Holes (Full Screen Edition)
Nerdy teenager Stanley Yelnats (Shia La Beouf) is sent to a Texas detention camp for stealing a pair of sneakers. At camp, Yelnats and the other delinquents are forced by the sadistic warden (Sigourney Weaver) to dig holes as a character-building exercise. Every day, each boy must dig a hole 5 feet deep and wide in the long-dry rock that was once the bottom of Green Lake. But what's the real reason for all the hole-digging?
Disturbia (Widescreen Edition)
#
In this modern retelling of Hitchcock's thriller Rear Window, Kale (Shia LaBeouf), a troubled teen sentenced to house arrest, begins watching his neighbors out of boredom -- only to discover evidence that a serial killer lives a stone's throw from his home.
The Greatest Game Ever Played
With a pint-sized caddie (Joshua Flitter) at his side, amateur golfer Francis Ouimet (Shia LaBeouf) shocked the world at the 1913 U.S. Open when he outplayed defending British champ Harry Vardon (Stephen Dillane). But Ouimet's rise to the top wasn't easy, with a hard-nosed father (Elias Koteas) and a hard-knock life to overcome. Actor Bill Paxton (in his third time out as a director) helms this inspiring true-life story based on actual events.
