Rejuvenation & Anti Aging With Minerals and Vitamins

Rejuvenating changes in one's body can be initiated and effected by nutrition, vitamins herbs and herbo-minerals. Aging and its associated problems are a degenerative disease, which, however, is preventable and treatable. The aging process involves the action of highly reactive free radicals, produced systemically, which interact with other cellular compounds and produce oxidative damages and eventually kills cells and tissues and impairs the immune function of the organism. Such free radical damage accumulates and increases with age, creating degenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's, cardiovascular, arthritis, cancer and over a hundred other diseases.

What Is Shilajit & How It is Beneficial?

Shilajit Extract - The Wonder Mineral Pitch

In the Eastern world, a compound known as Shilajit (shilajeet) has a history of use as a folk remedy for various disorders, including genito-urinary diseases, diabetes, gall stones, jaundice, enlarged spleen, fermentative dyspepsia, worms, digestive disorders, piles, epilepsy, nervous disorders, eczema, anaemia, anorexia, asthma etc. Shilajit has also been used as a tonic to help retain youthful vigour. Shilajit has been administered either by itself or in combination with certain other ayurvedic (herbal) medicines.

Native Shilajit is a blackish-brown exudation, of variable consistencies, obtained from steep rocks of different formations found in the Himalayas at altitudes between 1000-5000 m, and Tibet. Native Shilajit is believed to arrest aging and also produce rejuvenation. Considerable controversy, however, has existed in the literature concerning the nature and chemical character of Shilajit. It has been variously described as a bitumen (asphalt), a mineral resin, a plant fossil, a substance of mixed plant and animal origin, or an inorganic substance.

Generally, native Shilajit contains two classes of organic compounds, namely, (a)
humic substances and (b) non-humic organic metabolites. Humic substances are the major organic constituents of native Shilajit, present in an amount of about 80-85% therein, and have molecular weights ranging from several thousands for humic acids (HAs), and up to several million for polymeric humins (HMs), to only a few hundred for its fulvic acid (FAs) component. These substances also are found in soils and sediments distributed over the earth's surface, occurring in almost all terrestrial and aquatic environments.

Humic substances are produced by the interactions of plants, algae, and mosses (bryophtes), with microorganisms, by a process known as humification. Humification of latex- and resin-bearing plants is primarily responsible for the production of the water-soluble humic substances. The biological effects of Shilajit are believed to be due to the two distinct classes
of bioactive compounds: (i) DBPs, both mono- and bis-compounds thereof, in free and metal-ion conjugated forms; and (ii) fulvic acids (FAs) from Shilajit-humic substances, which function as a carrier for the bioactive DBPs (dibenzo-.alpha.-pyrones).

Shilajit is attributed with many magical properties

SHILAJIT contains more than 85 minerals in Ionic form and FULVIC ACID

Shilajit is perhaps the most powerful rejuvenator and anti aging elixir ever known to mankind. Attributed with many magical propertiesm, Shilajit is found predominately in Himalayan mountains region bordering India and Tibet. The existence and use of Shilajit was a closely guarded secret of Yogis of India for many centuries. The Indian Yogis considered it as God's gift and nectar of immortality. Ancient Indian scriptures mention of the wonderful powers of Shilajit in tackling most of the ailments of body and mind.

Shilajit is a concentrated historic plant life essentially from the Himalayan region. Himalayan region encompassing India, China, Tibet was home to rich plant life right from the prehistoric times. The plants absorbed various nutrients and minerals from the soil to form rich and green vegetation. The life of trees and plants there extended to many hundred and even thousands of years. After their time the plants returned back to earth along with the minerals. This process continued over a period of many centuries. These remains of the plant life in the specific climatic condition and altitude of Himalayas formed the mineral pitch known as Shilajit.

Shilajit contains more than 85 minerals in Ionic form and FULVIC ACID.
In Sanskrit the literal meaning of Shilajit is " Rock Like " - the power to make our body like a rock enabling it to withstand the ravages of time. It has the unparalleled powers of arresting and reversing the aging process. Indian Yogis on seeing the powers of Shilajit considered it to have divine powers capable of healing the body of virtually any ailments and above all preserve our youthfulness. Many yogis of India used Shilajit extensively. It is not uncommon to find many Indian Yogis even aged 100 years in Himalayan regions and above having stamina and body structure of a very young person.

Shilajit for anti aging

Shilajit contains 84 types of minerals in natural ionic form which are very vital for maintaining the equilibrium of energy metabolism in our body. The minerals in Shilajit are not similar to the mineral supplements available in market. These minerals are in ionic form and have previously been absorbed by rich plant life and returned back to earth. So they are easily absorbed by the body cells. Shilajit is indeed a wonder supplement.

Mythology of Shilajit

Lord Shiva - The founder of Yoga and Shilajit

Shilajit has extensive mention in ancient Hindu literature. King Chandra Varma who is supposed to have ruled much of Northern India had to spend most of his youthful years in Governing the vast empire, waging wars and protecting it from enemies. When there was peace and stability in his kingdom he was past 50 years of age.

He wanted to enjoy the pleasures of life. He unfortunately found that he had lost most of his youthfulness and could not enjoy the natural pleasures of life despite having enormous material richness and power. He then went on penance in the mountains of Himalayas and prayed to Lord Shiva - Prime most among Hindu Gods and considered the originator of Yoga. Lord Shiva was pleased with his prayer and offered him a substance originating from his body. That restored King Chandra varma's youthfulness. That substance is Shilajit and is found mostly in Himalayan mountains. King Chandra Varma who was the first to take Shilajit is considered immortal and still revered even now by local populace in India. Lord Buddha who was originally born into a royal family is considered as one of the direct descendants of King Chandra Varma.

There is also extensive mention of Shilajit as a powerful aphrodisiac and restorer of youthfulness in The Kama Sutra - the most widely read treatise on sex.

Shilajit was first discovered in Modern times by British Explorer Sir Martin Edward Stanley during 1870s when India and Nepal were part of the British Empire. Most of the monkeys in plains of Northern India age and bald by the time they reach 10 years of age. Sir Edward Stanley on his exploration in higher altitude of Himalayas to his surprise found there were hardly any monkeys with aged look in his months of expedition. He subsequently observed that monkeys there regularly ate something from earth near the rocks. That was a odd behavior as monkeys do not eat anything from earth. He observed that the monkeys ate a blackish mineral pitch oozing near the rocks. The locals there called it "silajitu". Only some Indian Yogis there knew how to treat and purify silajitu and it was offered to very select people there. This has mention in his book.

SHILAJIT is a proven Bioenergetic Medicine

Bioenergetic therapy and bioenergetic healing

Scientists have found that Shilajit over and above its nutritional and herbal content has novel energetic properties. Measurement of subtle energy changes indicate that Shilajit has a vibratory field that is substantially stronger than any vitamin, mineral, food substance or herb. Its vibratory field is also stronger than the vibratory fields of any of the known ingredients which make up Shilajit, when these ingredients are tested as pure substances from non-Shilajit sources.

Researchers have also surprisingly found that when a small amount of Shilajit is added to a vitamin or mineral preparation, the energetic properties of the vitamin or mineral preparation are enhanced. In particular, the present researchers have found that the addition of a small amount of Shilajit to a vitamin or mineral preparation increases the energy field of the entire preparation to at or near the vibratory level of pure Shilajit.

The addition of Shilajit to vitamin or mineral preparations imparts to the preparations an energetic quality above and beyond their nutritional content. As well, the energetic quality of Shilajit-fortified vitamin and mineral preparations support or enhance a user's bioenergetic field. The study on Shilajit relates to the use of Shilajit or extracts thereof in a vitamin and/or mineral preparation to enhance the energy properties of the preparation.

The energetic properties of Shilajit-containing vitamin/mineral compounds were measured using a Cameron Aurameter. The instrument is a dowsing device developed by the Life Understanding Foundation of Santa Barbara, California. It consists of a metallic, weighted, spring-mounted pendulum connected to a handle by means of a vertically hinged mount. The unique mount enables the pendulum to oscillate either vertically or horizontally in a free-floating fashion.

The Cameron Aurameter is sensitive to subtle energy fields given off by both animate and inanimate objects. The instrument is operated as follows. The aurometer is held so that the pendulum is at complete rest. The device is then moved over the object to be tested. If sufficient energy is being given off by the object, the pendulum oscillates. The amplitude of the oscillation is directly proportional to the intensity of energy. In other words, the greater the distance taken by the pendulum in completing its stroke, the stronger the energy emanating from the object.

The addition of small amounts of purified Shilajit powder to vitamin-mineral tablets enhances the energetic properties of the tablets. It was also found that 10 grams of purified Shilajit powder caused the Aurometer to oscillate with amplitude of 5 centimeters. Thus, the evidence suggests that the energy field of any combined vitamin-mineral-Shilajit tablet is stronger than the energy field of the equivalent vitamin-mineral tablet without Shilajit.

Shilajit: A defensive and proteCtive agent against most diseases

Shilajit As A Free Radical Scavenger

Shilajit is a significant defensive and proteCtive agent against most diseases. Shilajit mainly contains fulvic acid which is a vital aspect of humic mineral acid. Fulvic acids have a extraordinary role as compared to the end of organic compounds functional to soil as pesticides. As the most commanding, herbal electrolyte identified till date, fulvic acid reinstate chemical as well as electrical balance to injured cells, counterbalance toxics and can eradicate food toxicity within no times.

When Shilajit or the fulvic acid stumbles upon free radicals - (the main aging accelerators) with unpaired positive or negative electrons, it shelters an equal and opposite charge to balance the free radical. Shilajit (fulvic acid) acts as a refiner and carrier of organic supplies and cell food. According to the various renowned doctors, It has the capability to radically detox various chemicals herbicides, pesticides, and other toxics that it interrelate with - this contains many radioactive rudiments. This detoxification practice may also be found occurring in animals besides humans. Hence Shilajit or fulvic acid is one of the best detoxifier agent.
