Great article. Do you know how many people were in Shinsengumi? Some people said 400, some people around 2000.

Great to know piece of history about Japan. I have lived in Japan for less than a year. It's an interesting country.

  • California_Dreamin Jun 21, 2010 @ 7:46 am | delete
No, not a university paper. I've just lived in Japan for a very LONG time.
    Thanks for the blessing.

Thanks for doing that. Actually though, this lens is a work in progress and there are still a lot of gaps in the narrative. To the extent that your partner is a fan of Japanese history, I'm sure that he'll notice that. So please tell him that I'm still working on filling in the gaps. Thanks. :)
