Get Rid of Batteries %u2013 Classic Toys Rule!
It seems that popular retro toys of yesteryear are making something of a comeback. A popular seller for the last couple of years at Christmas time has been the retro space hopper, which has bounced off the shelves at many stores, and looks set to be taken out into many gardens again this summer. But who is bouncing on it most? The kids? Or the adults who remember it from the first time around?
It could be the latter, but the retro space hopper isn't the only classic toy which has proved popular. Items such as the Slinky (remember pouring that down the stairs?), colorful spinning tops and wooden skittles are proving very popular with the kids of today as well as their parents.
But why are these retro toys making such a comeback?
The toys of today's generation don't seem to be quite as robust as the ones we were used to as kids. Good old wooden toys have been replaced to an extent by brightly colored plastic ones which can be more easily broken. A lot of them also bring the extra expense of batteries as well.
Classic retro toys tend to last far longer; you can drop a wooden toy and you won't do much more than dent it, if that. We've all got a childhood toy tucked away in our cupboards somewhere, which is decades old in some cases and still looks good even though it might be dented in places.
Batteries aren't too good as far as the environment is concerned, and if wooden toys are made from renewable sources then you wouldn't just be reliving your childhood, you'd be doing something for the planet as well.
Modern toys seem to have a shorter shelf life than the old classics do. How many of the great toys of today will we remember (and still be using) in ten or twenty years time? It remains to be seen - but you can bet we'll still all be bouncing around on those retro space hoppers though.

The simple answer is, we've always wanted to own our own business. We started off by selling a lot of our own items that we no longer wanted or needed - it's probably the way most sellers start.
Before we knew it, we'd been bitten by the selling bug and started to think seriously about finding wholesale items to sell. We didn't deliberately set out to sell toys, it just kind of developed that way.
We have built - and continue to build - our business on straightforward values. We treat others as we would wish to be treated ourselves. If there's a problem, we'll do our best to resolve it. All you need to do is let us know.
