7. Read the fine print carefully. Take special care of making note of the website's privacy policy.
8. Research on the google search engine about a particular site prior to making a purchase. This way, you can encounter with some of the comments posted about a particular site.
9. When ordering from an online store, you must check that the order page is secure. The page you enter your address and contact details on doesn't require being secured. However, the page you enter your credit card insurance on should be secure.
10. A web page starting with https is secure. You can also look for a yellow pad-lock at the bottom of your browser.
