Shopping Directory provide consumers with easy access to numerous retail stores. It allows customers to shop from their homes, without needing to search for sites to purchase from on their own. Instead, they check the shopping directory and choose the category they are interested in. They may then choose from the multiple listings in that category, and easily complete their purchase online.

When a customer is interested in purchasing shoes, he will choose the "Shoe" category in a shopping directory. This will direct him to a large listing of shoe stores. The customer clicks on the shoe store that is of interest to him, and will be forwarded directly to the site of that particular store. At this point, the customer browses the products on the shoe store website, chooses a product and completes his purchase. This eliminates the need to do a more complicated web search to find an appropriate shoe store.

Well just try it, lets say you want to buy a nice watch for yourself, would you ever buy it from a vendor on the street? maybe you would but I would just never trust them

So lets say you you are not using a shopping directory so you go to a search engine and you type in buy watch or whatever, you will get 100,000 results with all sorts of things, you will also find a tun of watches and you just get caught up in the buzz and don't know where to go and whom to trust for your purchase

When you walk into any watch store you have more chances of finding what you need and you do have the trust

A shopping directory will give give you just that, it is a big list of ordinary stores (that same as you would find local) these stores listed usually have a retail location
