Who Is Jack Humphrey?
I've been doing this internet thing for a long, long time. I wouldn't give up the freedom or the feeling I get when I see clients and students succeed for anything.
I started in 1998. Messing around, getting myself into stupid things, not listening to my betters like Corey Rudl and others who were getting pretty big at the time. I started paying attention in 2000 and in 2002 wrote the most widely-downloaded and respected book on link building called "Power Linking."
I was involved with different partnerships after that and several startups. I started speaking at conferences and hanging out with people with no name recognition online, but who were pulling down truly insane amounts of money from the web.
ContentDesk.com, a site building membership center, was started in 2005 and quickly sold out 400 memberships at $97 a pop in one day. From there we continued to evolve to what we have today, BlogSuccess.com, the most complete professional blogging training center on the web.
