Shrek the Third Toys are Here! Everyone still loves the FunnyOgre in this 3rd film! CrazyDonkey and SassyFiona are also at the top of our list of favorites. Who ever would have thought that the 3rdMovie would be as good as the first? These loveable characters hold a warm spot in everyone's heart. What's remarkable about these three films is that they're great fun for adults and kids alike - so unusual for children's films. Fortunately for us, they're here to stay.

Meet the Ogre Family
- Shrek - Fantastically voiced by Mike Myers. Shrek is the unassuming GreenOgre that has fallen for PrincessFiona.
- Fiona - Delightful Cameron Diaz lends her voice to this OgrePrincess, Shrek's true love
- Donkey - Eddie Murphy offers his spectacular comedic talents to this adorable sidekick.
- PussInBoots - He's suave, he's debonaire, swashbuckling Antonio Banderas' talent rounds out this incredible foursome.
- PrinceCharming - Despite his moody ways, this Prince ends up winning our hearts afterall. Rupert Everett voices this madman.
- Artie - Fiona's cousin and heir to the throne. Justin Timberlake plays this reticent hero.

The Things We Like About TheGreenOgre
There are so many reasons why we find this ForestOgre Trilogy appealing. The scripts are fresh and look askance at typical fairytale fodder. The jokes are amusing for kids and adults alike. The animation is lively and gloriously colorful, but perhaps the major reason we're all such fans can be found in the character of ShrekHimself.We relate to GrouchyShrek because he reminds us of who we are and who we want to be. I often revel in fantasies of living alone in the forest undisturbed and still I'm drawn into the mundane adventures of everyday life. OurShrek is like that too.
Through the film, he lets us know that it's ok to be crabby, and still find fun in life. He's reluctant to help, just like we are, and yet he transcends to become our reluctant hero. With fatherhood thrust upon him, he soon becomes a model parent to the crowd of ogrelings. Love does that to us - transforming our lives into more than we ever thought we could be.
The CrazyDonkey comes into play here as well, letting everyone see that no matter the circumstance, a good jolt of humor always helps. Isn't life always better with a punchline in the midst of our troubles?
These two beloved characters are not a bad model for life in general. In the face of adversity, it's ok to be grouchy, we can be better than we imagine ourselves and a little humor makes our rough roads smoother along the way.
