Shrek

Shrek 1 story

Shrek is a computer-animated American comedy film, directed by Andrew Adamson and Vicky Jenson, and starring the voices of Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz, and John Lithgow. Based on William Steig's 1990 fairy tale picture book Shrek!, the film was produced by DreamWorks Animation. Shrek was the first film to win an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature, a category introduced in 2001. It was released on DVD and VHS on September 4, 2001.

The film stars Mike Myers as a large, strong, solitude-loving, intimidating ogre named Shrek, from the German word "Schreck" meaning "terror" or Yiddish word ????, meaning "fear". Shrek also features Cameron Diaz as the beautiful but very down-to-earth and feisty Princess Fiona, Eddie Murphy as a talkative donkey named Donkey, and Lithgow as the villainous Lord Farquaad.

The film was extremely successful on release in 2001 and it helped establish DreamWorks as a prime competitor to Walt Disney Pictures in the field of feature film animation...

Shrek the Third

Shrek the Third (sometimes known simply as Shrek 3) is a 2007 animated film, and the third film in the Shrek series, following Shrek and Shrek 2. It was produced by Jeffrey Katzenberg for DreamWorks Animation, and is distributed by Paramount Pictures, and was released in U.S. theaters on May 18, 2007 (exactly 6 years after the first Shrek).

It was produced with the working title of Shrek 3, the name being changed to avoid potential confusion with Shrek 3-D. Like the first two Shrek films, the movie is significantly based on fairy tale themes. It was nominated for Best Animated Movie at the Kids' Choice Awards 2008.

Shrek 4-D (TM)

Universal Studios Florida® - Interactive Ride/Show

The Production Central area of Universal Studios is something you shouldn't miss if you ever come to Orlando, Florida.

Why?

Because that's where Shrek 4-D is located.

Whilst 3-D kind of film utilizes four state-of-the-art, high-resolution digital cinema projectors - two for each eye,
Shrek 4-D adventure features an original 3-D film, plus an added fourth dimension of special effects through the miracle of OgreVision.

And that's exactly why you're guaranteed to see, hear and actually FEEL the action - right from your seat!

This is an incredible experience and if you enjoy motion stimulator rides - Shrek 4-D is a must!

To be honest, during my visit at Universal I enjoyed this attraction so much that after experiencing it for the first time I didn't care any more for everything else this amusement park has to offer. Instead, I kept going back to 'Production Central where Hollywood meets Orlando, and the business of making movies meets the excitement of living them.' :)

What do you think about Shrek?

All of the character are great. Shek's grumpiness versus donkey's exuberance is brilliant, Fiona is sexy and John Cleese and Julie Andrews as the King and Queen ... Fantastic
