There are a few casinos in Shreveport including Sam's Town Casino, Horseshoe Casino, Boomtown Casino, Eldorado Casino and Diamond Jack's Casino. There's also Harrah's Louisiana Downs racetrack in nearby Bossier City.
There's a new Hilton Hotel (managed by the Hiltons but owned by the city of Shreveport) that's 12 stories and is attached to a new convention center.
Shreveport is also home to Hebert's Chrysler Dodge Jeep. They are a popular new and used car dealer for the area.
You'll also find a number of restaurants like Superior's Steakhouse.
