The Shy, Novice, and Closeted Art Show is all about celebrating artists who are just starting out, a little unsure of themselves, or who don't otherwise have time to do shows. The artists displaying their work range from highschool students up to retirees in their 80s.
(5th Annual Shy Novice and Closeted Art Show is July 4, 2009)
History of the Show
The Shy, Novice, and Closeted Art Show was started 4 years ago by Bethel citizen Janet Willie to coincide with the larger Bethel Art Show on the Commons. It local artists who would like to show their work but aren't ready yet for a big outdoor art show a venue for displaying their work along with meeting other artists and art lovers.It's great fun and features a huge variety of styles and media.
