Siberian Huskies can be stubborn. To train them, you need to be patient and persistent. As such, they are not a good dog breed for first-time dog owners.
They love to run. In fact, they can run for miles before returning. If you take them outdoors, you should always keep them in a fenced area or on a leash.
Siberian Huskies are escape artists. Whether digging through the ground or jumping over fences, they are a dog breed that is known for running away from their owners. Make sure to train them not to dig and get a fence that's at least 6 feet high.
