Siberian Husky Obedience Doesn't Have To Be A Futile Effort!

Does having an obedient, attentive Siberian Husky seem like an impossible goal to you? Is your Siberian Husky destructive, not potty trained or is he prone to wandering off? Are you completely exhausted by constantly telling your dog what to do, only to have him ignore you? Siberian Husky obedience is within reach. With some strong and consistent training, you can get your dog trained!

I have to admit that I have a bias. I grew up around Siberian Huskies, and I believe that they are some of the smartest, most athletic dogs on the planet. In fact, they're so smart that they can walk all over you. Don't let that happen! Dive into this incredible dog training course today, and have the Siberian Husky you've always wanted!

Siberian Husky Obedience: Destructive Behavior

Destructive Behavior is a common problem with Siberian Huskies. They are very smart dogs, and so they can easily become bored. As you probably know (or are in the process of figuring out the hard way!) a bored dog equals a destructive dog.

Siberian Husky obedience training needs to be consistent to be effective. Don't discipline your Husky for chewing on the couch one day then let it go the next, even if you are exhausted and tired of constantly reprimanding her. The best thing you can do for your Siberian Husky is keep them busy and give them lots of attention. These are not dogs that can sit with their minds in neutral until you get home from work; they need something to keep themselves busy.

Don't let what happened in that picture happen to you! Get this program; I love it and recommend it every chance I get.

Siberian Husky Obedience: Disregard For Boundaries, Part One

One of the biggest problems new Siberian Husky owners have is maintaining good boundaries with their dogs. Huskies are notorious for not caring in the slightest where they are allowed and not allowed to go, and where they are supposed to stay.

Siberian Huskies are escape artists. While some dogs will do just fine in a run with a fence barely taller than them, Huskies will not. My first Husky was a total houdini; his run was five foot high heavy gauge fencing, buried two feet under the ground and with a lip leaning over the top, and additional fencing around the trees, and we put his house in the middle, far from the fence. This because he could climb the fence, chew through the fence, dig underneath it, use the tree to climb out and use his house to jump out. We also had to triple-reinforce his gate because he figured out how to work the latches, and he could bend the bottom and squeeze out.

You must, must, must have a good, secure run for your Siberian Husky if you are going to keep him outside. Get him microchipped too. While our Husky always came home, you never know what can happen.

Having a dog that you can trust to do the right thing begins with training. Siberian Husky obedience is within reach!

Siberian Husky Obedience: Disregard for Boundaries, Part Two

Siberian Huskies, like most dogs, think the world revolves around them. To your dog, you exist solely to feed her, love her and make her happy. So, it shouldn't come as a surprise that your Siberian Husky cannot understand why your bed is not her bed, why the kitchen table is not a good place to eat and why your daughter's toys are not for her to chew up.

Good, solid Siberian Husky obedience training will get rid of these behaviors. But it's important to be consistent; don't kick him off the bed one day then let him sleep there the next!
