    Not everyone everyone in my family likes sardines, but I love them and I'm definitely trying your Pasta con le sarde, it sounds wonderful. Do you think If I don't mention 'sardines' they might not notice what they're eating and just appreciate the taste?

    yes I forgot to adjust it I used my vegetarian recipe quite correctly the traditional way is pork fat. However either way it works for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Loved your blog, i found on twitter! So true how food will never taste the same as when u are in Sicilia! My Cucidati recipe calls for pork lard, is vegetable shortening a substitute? Where can u get pork lard for baking in USA? Grazie, Grazie, Grazie!

    Great lens Sicilian food is fabulous, Italian food is great, but Sicilian recipes are the creme de la creme.
