From the lens Sickle Cell - Help for Parents.

    I loved your lens because I suffer from sickle cell anemia (SC) but after a while you get sort of used to it. I used to miss school when I was a kid and I miss days from work because of the pain . But I mean what can you do? Except spread the word.

    I have worked with people with sickle cell. It is very painful and I wish the best for everyone that has it. I did not ever look into it this much and I did not realize the trends in locations where it occurs most ... interesting

    I have don't seen this kind of issues in India, I thought very less person have been affected. After read your article and after done some searches about sickle cell in Google i am come to know exactly what is sickle cell.

    This sickle cell issue is a very touchy one for me. I have watched a child grow before me and die without becoming any real human for one full day. I shall not let it happen again if ever I can. I think I should start spreading the news of your lens. I got something new here.
