And if you can't drive the car you dream of... don't worry, there's always a second best. Not everyone is able to put themselves into a vehicle that they dream of. However I'm certain that most of us need a means of transportation to work, school, restaurants and food shopping ofcourse.


Visiting dealerships can be a hassle, keep in mind that people who work at dealerships are PROFESSIONAL salesmen, that need a criteria to be fulfill each month. A minimum amount of cars they have to sell to get that SPECIAL bonus.


I can't speak for everyone else but from personal experience, the minute you step foot inside the dealership you are on a hook, you might have called in an hour ago, you probably even spoke to a salesperson over the phone several times before they invited you to their showroom, but as soon as you are inside, they have you right where they want your.


Fact: Once at a showroom, discussing a particular vehicle that you have been interested in, it is quiet difficult to turn around and walk out without at least leaving your information. The salesperson will bring you refreshments, some kind of snacks to make you feel at home, they need you to be comfortable in order to make a rational decision.


When you are comfortable and cozy and surrounded by beautiful cars in a fantastic atmosphere set up particularly for your pleasure, thats exactly when you want to purchase your car, and no matter what the price is you are not leaving without that car.


I'm sure that at this point you are guessing why in the world am I targeting dealerships and portraying them with outmost negativity...? Well to be honest with you is because I fell for the same tricks, little did I know that when it came time to sign the papers at the dealership for my dream car I was UNEXPECTEDLY HIT with several unknown fees. Although I was upset it was extremely difficult to decline the offer. I ended up paying the extra fees which meant that I was the fool in that situation.


The purpose of me disclosing my experience at the dealership is to prevent someone who has the urge to get a car without a) shop around for prices and b) don't be fooled by the extra fees that are added on when its time to sign the contract and c) don't fall for the low balls which are give to you when you ask for a quote over the phone. Thats done for one reason only, specifically for the purpose of bringing you into the dealership!!!


NO LOW BALLERS, that's a way to waste your time, because when they give you a price thats way too low it usually means they cannot do the deal without having you cough up a certain amount of money before getting to that price.


As a word of reminder to people who have not yet heard the devastating news, FORD will no longer participate in LEASING. Due to a INSANE financial Loss, they are not stable enough to provide leasing programs. Therefore most american makes and models are suffering as we speak.
