In your conversations he seems distant and aloof and nonchalant. He shows no interest in taking part in any meaningful way and is trying to avoid you altogether. Worse, the rare times that you find you are together seem to become less frequent and worse, when you do meet, he is always in a hurry to leave to supposedly do something else.

Another one of the telltale signs that your boyfriend is cheating on you could be that he seems to be spending more time out of town, not accounting for where he is going and when he is coming back. Perhaps he is getting difficult to get hold of on his phone and seems to take a long time to get back to you each time. When you are speaking on the phone, he keeps your conversation short and very abrupt, with long gaps of silence in between.

Your boyfriend's physical appearance may change in that he no longer dresses to please you but rather to please someone else. You cannot remember the last time that he put on that favorite shirt of his that you gave him for his last birthday that you love to see him wear. He has changed the way you like him to wear his hair and in fact, he seems to be doing everything he can to change his appearance as you know him and he does not even bother to dress up for you as he did in the past.

If you notice that he is unusually preoccupied on the computer, especially late at night, and you notice his erratic behavior when you approach him or show interest in what he is doing, then chances are that he is hiding something or someone whom he does not want you to find out about.

These signs that your boyfriend is cheating on you is among the most common but all may not be lost. If you feel that this is happening to you, first do a bit of self-evaluation to see whether there is anything on your side that you have stopped doing that may have contributed to his behavior. Have an honest and frank discussion with him about your relationship, non-confrontational nor heated if possible, and see if you can both salvage your relationship as best as possible.
