Silly Bandz have actually been around for a couple years now...but it was Canadian teen heart-throb Justin Bieber who made them a house hold name.

A local Hallmark store clerk told me "We've had them since spring and sold very few...and then Justin Bieber wore them and now we can't keep them in stock!"

If you are a parent having just heard of this latest fashion statement you maybe wondering what all the fuss is about...bottom line, school yard trading. It's no different than Hockey cards, Pokemon cards, Peek-a-poohs etc. Kids wear them on their wrist as rubber band bracelets and trade them with their friends. Got'em got'em need'em.
