Silly Bandz are the hot new trend sweeping the playground these days. These stretchy rubber band bracelets turn into fun shapes when removed from your wrist. They keep their shape and there are so many of them.
My kids keep an eye out for the rare Silly Bandz or Twilight Silly Bandz and I am constantly trying to keep up with them. I don't mind because Silly Bandz are cheaper than most toy crazes and you get at least 24 in a pack. What Are Silly Bandz?
According to Wikipedia
The toys come in dozens of shapes, colors, and themes, and can be used as a regular rubber band. On someone's wrist, they look like a regular bracelet, and when taken off they go into their original shape. They are often worn many at a time, like sleeves, and are traded like other collectibles. Silly Bandz have also inspired Believer Bands, which come in the shape of Christian symbols.
James Howard, president of the Oklahoma-based Zanybands, said the idea was inspired by shaped silicone office products used in China. He then suggested that they be made in cute shapes to appeal to children. The toys are sold in packs of 12 for about $2.50, or in packs of 24 for twice the cost. A number of competing manufacturers make the product. BCP Imports, located in Toledo, Ohio, supplies Silly Bandz as well as the Livestrong wristbands.

- I had a hedgehog, but my dad accidently vaccumed it while he was cleaning my stuff. I got so mad. I loved that hedgehog! It was my first one ever, and I didn't realize it was rare. My friend gave it to me for free.

- No my son has no knowledge of these bands. He was given 2 packs of GOOGLY BANS for Xmas but they are hidden and he wont get them until he asks for them - if that ever happens.
