The Silpada story began in 1991 when two Kansas housewives, Bonnie Kelly and Theresa Walsh, took $25 from their grocery money and began hosting parties to sell sterling silver jewelry.  Six years later, they founded Silpada Designs.  Silpada Designs has designers and artisans from all across the world, working for them and handcrafting their jewelry.    Their love for fine Sterling Silver Jewelry and passion for shopping unique silver designs inspired them to start the Silpada Designs, Inc.  Known for artisan jewelry, Silpada offers unique items which are not found elsewhere.
