American Silver Eagle Coins

The American Silver Eagle coin series are the official silver bullion coins issued by the United States Mint. These beautiful silver coins were first minted in 1986 and each Silver Eagle coin contains one ounce of fine silver. These silver coins are minted to U.S. Mint specifications and guaranteed by the US Government for weight, content, and purity. The series has become a favorite of both bullion coin investors and coin collectors.

About Silver Eagle Coins

Silver Eagle Bullion CoinThe US Mint has offered Silver Eagles in three primary versions. The first is the regular bullion version of the coin which is available through authorized bullion dealers and coin dealers. The second is the collectible proof version available each year, directly from the US Mint. The final and most recent version is a collectible uncirculated or burnished version of the coin. These coins were minted at West Point NY and carry the "W" mint mark and were struck on specially prepared burnished blanks.
