Silver Flutes for the Advanced Player

Once you have been playing the flute for several years you will want to invest in a really good quality instrument.  It is always best to try as many flutes as possible to get a feel for what you like.

If you tend to blow very hard and have a strong air stream you may want to go with a more heavy walled flute.  I prefer the standard wall thickness.

Think about the cut of your headjoint.  Get a handmade headjoint.  The flute should be solid silver.
