    I love Simon Baker. I first saw him on "Something New" and thought he was absolutely delicious. Now Im regular viewer of "The Mentalist", just so I can see him :) Great Lens !

    I have to say I've only seen him in the Devil wears Prada, he was excellent in that. I've seen previews of the Mentalist and it looks like something I'd like.

    I really liked him in The Devil wears Prada. Thanks for a very interesting lens on Simon. Just one thing - if he was born in 1969, there is NO way he finished high school in 1976. It would have been 1986. But if he was born in 1959 then yes he could have finished high school in 1976. So which date is wrong? His year of birth or his year of finishing high school? (Aussies do not actually graduate - they just leave school when they leave).

    I love the Mentalist. I can see why this page received a purple star. I think Patrick and Lisbon would make a great couple but probably ruin the show, after all it's about the search for Red John.

    I'm not a huge fan of crime shows, but occasionally one catches my interest. "Mentalist is one of those shows. I think my wife has a crush on Simon Baker and with this guy I can almost understand why. I'm going to refer this lens to my wife and I would not be surprised if she "Favorites" it.

    I am not a watcher of The Mentalist, although I have caught short pieces of it on occasion. Just enough to see how dreamy (is that still a word used today?) he is (even if he is Australian). Great lens, packed full of information for the Simon Baker fans. SquidAngel Blessed!

    I really enjoy the Mentalist. But,why don't they let Simon Baker use her real accent? It's wonderful and I don't think it would change the series. Anyway,good lens. I will have to check out the Guardian series, I must have missed that.

    I am a fan of this show and Simon Baker's character. i would love to have his developed abilities, but would not pay the same price he did in the show.

    I've seen a couple of movies that he's been in, but I've never seen The Mentalist. I'm always on the lookout for good new TV shows, so I'll have to check this one out. Squid Angel blessed.

    I'm a big Simon Baker fan and have been since The Guardian (which I was thrilled to find on DVD). I couldn't quite vote for him as my top favorite Australian actor since that place is held by Alex O'Loughlin, but he's right up there! Thanks for the info on his newer films, some of which I didn't know about. Adding them to my list. Blessed by a SquidAngel.

    I actually went to the same school as Simon, although not at the same time...he's quite a bit younger than me. He grew up in small town Launceston in northern Tasmania, Australia's island state. 'Here' seems such a long way from 'there' that I'm in complete awe that he's done so well. Although someone as gorgeous as he is bound to be in the spotlight sooner or later.

    I first saw Simon in The Guardian, quite a few years back, and thought he was a fantastic actor, and doesn't get the recognition he deserves, although getting better. And yes, not too bad in the eye candy department either LOL Congratulations on your Purple Star! - Kathy

    Simon Baker is a terrific actor and I love watching The Mentalist because of his acting. He's a handsome guy too, ain't he? Great job on this lens and loved watching the video with Ellen D.

    You need to change the High School name from Bellina to Ballina ;)
    I went to school with him - he was a year below me - but we all used to hang out as he was friends with all - not 'clicky', always a really nice guy.

    I just recently started watching the Mentalist. I didn't know that Simon Baker was in The Devil Wears Prada! I will have to watch it again. He is obviously a very versatile actor. Congrats on the well deserved Purple Star my precious friend!

    The Mentalist just made it over to New Zealand this past season. I think Simon's eyes are a big part of the shows success. Plus it is a bit different from all those other American crime shows.

    I absolutely loved him in the Guardian, but the Mentalist wins hands down. I was a bit dubious before I saw the show, but it's great in allowing him to show a quirky sense of humour.

    You did a great job here. I had a Simon Baker lens before. It didn't do well, so I foolishly deleted it. I decided to do another one now that I know some other lens ideas. Hopefully this time it will improve in lensrank. I will lensroll this lens once mine is ranked!
