Who is Simone De Beauvoir

Simone de Beauvoir was a French writer and philosopher, and the wife of playwright Jean Paul Sartre. She is the author of the novels "The Guest" (1943) "Mandarin" (1954), the book "The Second Sex" (1949), the story "pretty picture" (1966), an autobiographical trilogy (1958-1963) and many more. She is well known to have made a significant contribution to the development of philosophical thought and the feminist movement.
