SOLD!! A Classic in the Simon Pearce Collection

I'm selling an authentic Simon Pearce Hand Blown Glass Bowl, a gorgeous classic within their collection. The bowl was an engagement gift and is beautiful but does not match our set. Note: there is a very small inclusion on the bottom of the bowl--it looks like a rough spot in the glass. We've been told this is a usual characteristic, but I can't vouch for that.

The dimensions: Woodbury Bowl "Medium". H4 1/2" W10 1/2". As pictured in the leftmost bowl in the photo above.

"It's solid yet graceful, functional yet beautiful. It's not flashy; it's built for the long haul. If an inanimate object can be said to project an air of quiet confidence, then Simon Pearce's glassware does it."

Learn more about Simon Pearce

It may come as a surprise to some that Simon Pearce is an actual person and not just a well-known custom trademark for high quality glassware and pottery. Raised in County Cork Ireland, Simon Pearce began his career in glass at the Royal College of Art in London and worked in some of Europe's most renowned glass houses.

1981

In 1981, he moved his operations to Quechee, Vermont, where he completed a restoration of an historic woolen mill and harnessed the hydro-power of the Ottauquechee River to fuel his glass furnace. Visitors to The Mill can view the hydroelectric turbine on the Mill's lower level, observe the teams of glassblowers, watch a potter working on the wheel, browse in the retail shop and enjoy a meal in the restaurant.
